Sister Wives season 19 has a different feel, especially with the consistent storylines about Christine Brown and David Woolley’s Relationship Taking Screen Time From Furious Kody Brown and make viewers feel like it became a spin-off of Christine. Throughout the race Sister wives, Kody has been dealing with the dynamics of his relationship with his wives in plural marriage. Although Christine was the first to leave, Janelle Brown and Meri Brown followed soon after, leaving Kody alone with his remaining wife, Robyn Brown. Kody’s relationships have been fascinating, but the way Christine has evolved has been more interesting.
All over Sister Wives season 19, Christine’s new relationship with David was documented thoroughly. For the first time in Sister Wives story, one of the women involved in plural marriage is looking for a new partner, and Sister Wives viewers have the added benefit of knowing in advance that things will work out. Christine and David’s wedding special aired much earlier Sister Wives Season 19 captured their meet-cute and introduced it to the cameras, so viewers are allowing themselves to invest in the relationship. In contrast, things between Kody and Robyn have been pretty dark, leaving viewers wanting more of Christine.
Christine and David are the most interesting couple on Sister Wives
Its dynamics are new and more equitable
Over the last few seasons of Christine Sister Wives, she was able to create a new sense of independence for herself and change her life for the better. After leaving Kody all the time Sister Wives season 17 and moving to Salt Lake City to be closer to her children, Christine knew she needed to make changes that would benefit her in the future. Doing her best to find herself in a new and exciting way, she got in touch with herself and discovered who she was after the breakup. Eventually, she was ready to date again and quickly met David.
Although Sister Wives viewers know that Christine and David are now happily married, Sister Wives the 19th season follows the first days and weeks of their relationship, giving more information about the couple. Seeing who Christine is in a new relationship with someone who loves her, cares about her and is all about her was refreshing. Instead of looking at her dynamic with Kody, who wasn’t interested in her for most of their marriage, seeing Christine be loved and love in return was great.
Kody and Robyn’s drama isn’t as interesting as Christine’s happiness
The drama is too dark for viewers
Although Kody and Robyn are the only couple remaining from the initial plural marriage in Sister wives, their drama doesn’t live up to the hype. Kody has been unable to process or understand his feelings as he moves forward in his life after plural marriage, blaming his ex-wives for his problems rather than taking any responsibility. Watching Kody spiral and struggle to be honest about his life with Robyn wasn’t something Sister Wives viewers want to watchat least not because Christine is happy and in love. Even though Kody is a part of the show, his stories haven’t been captivating.
Sister Wives is becoming a Christine and David spin-off
Sister Wives viewers want to see their life together
Although Sister Wives viewers have always been begging for a spin-off centered around Christine and Janelle, it looks like the main show could be turning into exactly what they want. Although Kody, Robyn and Meri appeared, many of the stories in Sister Wives have focused on Christine and David’s relationshipas well as Janelle moving on with her life. Sister Wives viewers would rather see the happy couple moving on with their lives and settling into the next chapter than hearing Kody reminisce about things that no longer matter. Sister Wives could easily become a Christine-focused series.
Sister Wives airs Sundays at 10pm EST on TLC.
