There are fun Easter eggs

The trailer starts off like a normal introduction to The Simpsons. Like other recent AI-generated trailers, it includes a dry voiceover that pokes fun at the city of Springfield and its residents. But there are also fun Easter eggs and little detailslike Homer wearing glasses, which he does from time to time. Marge is also seen wielding a gun, which is a deep cut into a notable storyline in the series, where she ends up keeping one in her purse.

But aside from these little details, like a young adult Bart being a rapper, the trailer is fun for its unexpected casting choices. Buscemi is a popular choice for Moe, and Cera is a run-of-the-mill Millhouse, due to the actor playing similarly strange characters. However, Mitchell, as casino-loving Ned Flanders, is inspired and calls back to "Viva Ned Flanders" of the 10th season.
