According to Theresa, although she fell in love with Gerry, she felt rushed to get married because the network offered to pay for their wedding. She explained that they didn’t know each other well enough to get married, implying that they simply weren’t compatible. The couple never lived in the same state during their marriage, instead traveling back and forth to see each other.
