Our take on the surprising Black Sheep sequel
Can lightning strike New Zealand's monster herd twice?
Perhaps one of the strangest examples of a modern “zombie” film, Black sheep wear your nonsense on your sleeve. From murderous sheep to evil farmers and horrific hybrids, the film revels in its silliness and is absolutely straightforward, while also offering enough blood and violence to challenge the genre's most iconic hallmarks.
As such, it is still unclear whether Black Sheep 2 can recapture the success of the original film, avoiding simply retreading its story and expecting the same impact just for the absurd premise. However, with much of the original cast and crew involved in the new film, there's a chance that Black sheepthe surprise sequel will dare to top an already strange but distinctive horror comedy.
