This variant cover by Imogene Chayes from “The Art of Marvel Studios” cover series will feature concept art of Aubrey Plaza’s character from Agatha all the time Disney+ series, with a costume very similar to that used in the final version of the program, with small changes.
Each variant in “The Art of Marvel Studios” series highlights character concepts introduced in the issue itself. Concept art by Agatha Harkness from Agatha all the time will appear in Scarlet Witch #6when Agatha herself appears on the other side Scarlet Witch comic book series, even requesting that Wanda train the mysterious student Amaranth. With this knowledge, Aubrey Plaza’s depiction of Death could appear, or ‘Rio’ could make his Marvel Comics debut.
Scarlet Witch #7 features the return of Wanda’s children, Wiccan and Speed
Scarlet Witch #7 follows the story of Wanda Maximoff, Billy Kaplan aka Wiccan, Tommy Shephard aka Speed, and Amaranth trapped in a devious carnival funhouse. Wanda is faced with an almost impossible choice: does she save Wiccan and Speed, her and Vision’s reincarnated children, or save Amaranth, her new apprentice and future member of the New Champions?
Amaranth’s powers are still a secret, but they will soon come to light, and the real question may be who is saving who. Adding Aubrey Plaza’s character or characters into the mix only raises more questions.
Go Agatha all the time Original character Rio makes his comic book debut?
From the beginning, Agatha all the time claimed that Aubrey Plaza’s character ‘Rio’ was simply a witch, before the events of the series itself revealed the truth. After several theories were floated claiming she was secretly Mephisto, Blackheart, and many others, the show confirmed that Aubrey Plaza was playing Marvel’s personification of Death. However, Rio could still make her comic book debut as a different character from the series’ final reveal, perhaps even leveraging Aubrey Plaza’s likeness to capitalize on her character’s popularity in the Disney+ series.
It’s more than likely that if a character played by Aubrey Plaza appears in Scarlet Witch #7, It will be Death, a character already established in the comics. Death may be behind the torturous funhouse where Wanda Maximoff, her children and her apprentice are trapped. She may also be linked to Amaranth’s mysterious powers, which will be revealed in this issue. The final plan remains to be seen.
