Spoiler alert: The following article contains spoilers from SEAL Team season 7, episode 6, “Hundred-Year Marathon.”After Jason’s shocking departure in the previous hour, Bravo tries to survive without him in Seal team Season 7, Episode 6, and although they run into a few hiccups, They prove that they can manage without their team leader. The Paramount+ military drama TV series, created by Benjamin Cavell, is in its final season, meaning it’s undergoing a lot of changes. From a new era of warfare to Ray’s impending retirement and Jason’s mental health struggles, the Seal team Major characters are really going through it. At least they have their brothers by their side (for the most part).
Seal team Season 7, Episode 5, ended with Jason leaves Bravo in Thailand to return home after his son, Mikey, tears his ACL. Jason leaving in the middle of a deployment is quite uncharacteristic, and his team was further confused by his recent decisions and actions. Nevertheless, Bravo pushes on without Jason in Seal team Season 7, Episode 6. The SEALs are given a new mission to capture Jun Yilin, a fentanyl precursor magnate associated with Sai Lou, A Chinese criminal syndicate. However, their operation was not exactly smooth, and the results were not ideal despite Bravo’s eventual success in grabbing June.
Does Bravo successfully capture June?
Bravo’s mission to tie China to drug traffickers continues
After Jason’s departure, Bravo gets a new mission to take a step further in their pursuit to tie the Chinese government to Sai Lu’s drug trafficking operation In the sixth episode of Seal team Season 7. The SEALs’ joint task force with the DEA has been a bit of a roller coaster so far, and the bumpy ride just continues. Bravo is tasked with capturing Yuni Yelin in Cambodia, but they don’t have permission to extradite him to Thailand (yet). The United States does not have an extradition agreement with Cambodia, which means that they must first allow him to cross the border.
Bravo (including Omar, Sonny, Drew, Brock and Trent) arrives at June’s hotel to survey him and wait for the forward to capture him. Unfortunately, while there, the seals notice that another team is about to capture June so, Omar gives the green light for Bravo to take June. They succeed in capturing the fentanyl precursor magnate, but the mysterious group of people from earlier track June and try to grab him from Bravo’s car. The team escapes, however, and headquarters directs them to an abandoned safe house where they try to wait until they get permission to bring June to Thailand.
[Bravo’s] The mission is seemingly for nothing as China files an extradition request when they learn that June has been taken to Thailand. Since Yun is a Chinese citizen, China is prioritized over the United States, and Bravo is ordered to return home.
The good news is that Bravo eventually gets the go ahead to extradite June, but the bad news is that the unknown team finds them before they can leave the safe house. Thankfully, the seals previously prepared for this exact situation and got alive with June in tow. So, maybe Bravo isn’t too affected by Jason letting in Seal team Season 7. However, their mission is seemingly for naught as China files an extradition request when they learn Jun has been taken to Thailand. Since June is a Chinese citizen, China is prioritized over the United States, and Bravo is ordered to return home.
Why Ray lets Omar take the lead during the op
Ray stays behind to link up
Before leaving for Cambodia in Seal team Season 7, Episode 6 Bravo must decide who will be left behind to team up with the DEA and Thailand’s attorney general’s office. Ray volunteers, leaving Omar in charge of the op in Cambodia. As some may recall, episode 5 featured tension between Ray and Omar. Omar (who was set to take over Ray’s role on Bravo after he retired) felt that Ray was consistently second-guessing his decisions and undermining his ability to lead the team. now, Ray is setting Omar free and giving him the space to find his footing as a leader.
New episodes of Seal team Season 7 premieres Sundays at 12pm PT on Paramount+.
Omar stumbles a bit when he has to make a game-time call in Seal team Season 7, Episode 6. However, with experience and some advice from Drew, Omar is able to recover and lead the SEALs out of a tricky situation by the end of the hour. Even though Seal team Season 7 features some massive changes for Bravo’s future, Omar has proven his ability as a leader, Show that the team is in good hands, even after the end of the Paramount + series.
