Scarlet Witch’s MCU Return Is Already Set to Give Her a Major New Enemy

THE Scarlet Witch An MCU return has been theorized for years, with the franchise potentially already providing it with a new villain. Scarlet Witch’s death in the MCU has arrived Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and was fully confirmed in Agatha all the time after a period of uncertainty. While many waited Agatha all the timeWhile the introduction of The Witches’ Road into the MCU would lead to Wanda’s resurrection, that proved not to be the case. Instead, Wanda’s death is more certain than ever.

However, Agatha all the timeWanda’s ending continued Wanda’s legacy in the MCU through the full introduction of Billy and Tommy Maximoff, her children from WandaVision. Regardless, given Scarlet Witch’s status as a fan-favorite MCU character, many were still disappointed that her revival didn’t appear in the series. There’s no word yet on whether the upcoming MCU films or TV shows will resurrect Wanda, but if they do, the franchise already has a perfect candidate to give her a new nemesis.

Agatha always considers death to be Scarlet Witch’s greatest enemy if she returns

Death would not be happy with Wanda for several reasons

Death talks about sacred balance in Agatha episode 8:9

The character in question is Rio Vidal by Aubrey Plaza de Agatha all the time. Rio Vidal was eventually revealed to be the MCU’s version of Mravel Comics’ Lady Death, being responsible for guiding lost souls to the afterlife and maintaining the natural order of life and death. While much of Death’s character is centered around his relationship with Agatha in the MCU’s latest TV show, his inclusion not only provided some creepy aspects Agatha all the time scenes, but also many reasons for her to be angry at Scarlet Witch.

One reason Rio will be angry at Scarlet Witch is the latter’s creation of souls out of thin air. It was Scarlet Witch who raised Billy and Tommy during WandaVisionmeaning it was indirectly her fault that William Kaplan was killed and Billy Maximoff took his body. Death has already been hampered by this in Agatha all the timeinsisting that Billy was an abomination and was disturbing the sacred balance. If Scarlet Witch is suddenly resurrected, Death will become even angrier because this balance is being further upset.

Death being Scarlet Witch’s enemy would make her return even better

Scarlet Witch would have a compelling villain from the start

If Death’s anger at Scarlet Witch caused the two to become enemies, it would only make the latter’s MCU return even better. Of course, Wanda’s return would be great either way, given how good Elizabeth Olsen is in the role and how compelling her character has been since. Avengers: Age of Ultron. Despite that, Death being a villain for Wanda would immediately give the latter a strong story to begin her MCU resurgence.

Having Death be Wanda’s villain once she’s resurrected would give her a compelling story and an immediate antagonist, allowing the MCU to bring Scarlet Witch back into the universe…

Before her death, Wanda’s arc focused on helping the Avengers in the Infinity Saga and then dealing with Vision’s death and the subsequent fallout from WandaVisionis ending. If she were to return, Wanda would be all but removed from the Multiverse Saga’s overarching story. As such, having Death be Wanda’s villain once she’s resurrected would give her a compelling story and an immediate antagonist, allowing the MCU to double down on Scarlet Witch back into the universe before probably tying her to the events of Avengers: Judgment Day and Avengers: Secret Wars.
