Warning: SPOILERS ahead for Ghosts season 4, episode 5, ‘A Star Is Dead’Sasappis (Román Zaragoza) faces unique obstacles when it comes to love in Ghosts, and Season 4 Episode 5 ‘A Star Is Dead’ Highlights How Difficult Dating Has Been for the Lenape Spirit. On the fifth exit from Ghosts In Season 4, a community theater group called the Hudson Valley Players rents Woodstone to host a production of the musical Anything goes. With production in full swing, the mansion has more people coming and going than usual, and Sasappis faints over a cast member named Marisa. Later, when using his ghost spirit power, he encounters her again when she appears in Jay’s dreams.
Sass and Marisa hit it off, and the Lenape ghost asks Sam to ask Jay (Utkarsh Ambudkar) to intentionally dream about Marisa so he can date her. Although it’s a strange request for Sam (Rose McIver) to help her husband, Jay complies, and Sass begins to see Marisa in Jay’s subconscious. However, things take a strange turn when Sass tells Pete (Richie Moriarty) and Trevor (Asher Grodman) that Marisa likes her. Star Wars and Sonicinterests that eerily resemble Jay’s. THE Ghosts Season 4 characters realize that Marisa is just a figment of Jay’s mind, punctuating Sass’s dating struggles.
Sasappis doesn’t date anyone in Woodstone (unlike the other spirits)
Sass wants to date, but has been unsuccessful
Unlike almost all ghost characters, Sasappis never had a romantic connection with any of the other ghosts at Woodstone Mansion. The series hasn’t even hinted that he might have chemistry with another Woodstone spirit. Instead, Sass remains romantically private, but the choice is not his. There’s a running joke that Sass doesn’t have much dating experience before Season 4, but he always protests that he had a girlfriend. Sass has some romantic run-ins, like when she texts Shiki (Crystle Lightning) or dates the ghost in the car. Still, Sass’s relationships are short-lived.
Sass’s obstacles are unique and prepare him for a great love story in Ghosts season 4.
On the other hand, Thor (Devan Chandler Long) and Flower (Sheila Carrasco) are in a pretty serious relationship. Isaac (Brandon Scott Jones) also had a serious relationship with Nigel (John Hartman). Although they never date, Pete used to have a huge crush on Alberta (Danielle Pinnock), and sometimes there’s chemistry there. Even Hetty (Rebecca Wisocky) and Trevor have a relationshipand although it is mostly physical, it provides regular intimacy for both of them. So Sass’s obstacles are unique and prepare him for a great love story in Ghosts season 4.
How Ghosts Can Solve the Sasappis Novel Problem
What will Sasappis’ romance be like?
Ghosts Season 4, Episode 5 presents a solution to Sasappis’ romance problem, although it may not be the most realistic. After Sass realizes she is dating Jay, Pete offers to use his geographically unlimited ghost power leave the property in search of a partner for Sass. It seems unlikely that Pete could choose the right person, but watching a dating montage would be fun. Ultimately, the series needs to decide whether to give Sass a long-term partner, which would mean adding a new ghost on a recurring basis. Otherwise, Sass will continue to date without success in Ghosts.
Ghosts (USA) is a comedy series centered on a young couple who inherit an old mansion only to discover that it is inhabited by eclectic spirits from different historical periods, mixing humor and history as they navigate life among the dead.
