During a panel with Jo Deckelmeier Fan Expo Canada, where Screen Rant is media partner, Rosario Dawson revealed what her favorite moment was during her time playing Ahsoka Tano.
grogu. In The Mandalorian, I did the shot that you see sort of behind the scenes stuff where I put my star to his star and I remember doing it in that scene and thinking that’s too much, right? I’m probably getting orange on his forehead and Dave is going to say something and be like, this isn’t working. And then it wasn’t in the scene and I was like, okay. Yes. And then it was all over everywhere else. He loved it and he really drew it for me and so it was a really, really sweet spot.
As Dawson explained, her favorite moment in portraying Ahsoka was when she met Grogo for the first time, and especially when she put her forehead to his forehead. That scene was cut from The Mandalorian Season 2, episode 5, but a picture of the moment was released as promotion for the show. Since then, it’s become a very popular photo, and it’s even inspired fan art of Ahsoka and Grogu’s relationship.
