Romulus Cast and Character Guide

THE Alien: Romulus The cast includes actors who have headlined recent blockbusters and fresh faces who could become tomorrow’s biggest stars. Set chronologically between the events of Foreigner and AliensThe film follows a group of six young adults as they try to find supplies for a long cosmic voyage from an abandoned space station. However, they are unaware that the station is abandoned and in ruins because of the creatures trapped on board and are more than eager to attack any visitors.

One of the often forgotten strengths Foreigner it was the way the film resisted traditional sci-fi casting and instead focused on a diverse collection of actors who brought a grounded humanity to their performances. This is something Alien: Romulus I tried to replicatekeeping much of the film’s focus centered solely on the central cast of six young adults trying to traverse the cosmos toward a better future.

Who might return for a potential Alien: Romulus sequel?

After the success of Alien: Romulusa sequel is already being discussed. However, given that this is a Foreigner film, it is not surprising that few members of the Alien: Romulus the cast was left alive to return for a second performance. The end of Alien: Romulus saw Rain as the only human survivor of the confrontation with the Xenomorphs and his android protector Andy left severely damaged. However, Rain makes a promise that he will find a way to fix Andy as they prepare for their long journey to Yvaga III.

In fact, Cailee Spaeny and David Jonsson are expected to return for the next Foreigner filmbut it is unlikely on the other Alien: Romulus characters will join them. The direction the sequel takes will be interesting, as Rain and Andy could be surprised on their journey to Yvaga III, perhaps captured by the vengeful Weyland-Yutani corporation. It’s also possible that the sequel offers the grim revelation that the seemingly idyllic Yvaga III is also owned by Weyland-Yutani.

Whatever direction the sequel takes, Rain and Andy have proven themselves to be complex and interesting characters in Alien: Romulus and more than capable of continuing the franchise from here.

Alien: Romulus is the seventh film in the Alien franchise. The film is directed by Fede Álvarez and will focus on a new group of young characters who encounter the terrifying Xenomorphs. Alien: Romulus is an independent film and takes place in a time not yet explored in the Alien franchise.
