Actor: JG Quintel is actually a writer before an actor, although he has voiced many characters in the shows he has written for, and is the creator of Regular Program. After graduating from CalArts in 2005, Quintel began working directly for some of the biggest TV networks. The first Cartoon Network series Quintel worked on was Camp Lazlo!, before successfully launching Regular Program and took on several regular roles on its biggest series. Character(s): Quintel voices his own creation, Mordecai, one of the two main characters in Regular Program. Mordecai is a very tall blue jay and the most laid-back and hardworking of the duo of best friends from downtown. Normal show. Actor: Sam Marin is also a behind-the-scenes talent and actor, having studied and worked in animation. Marin met JG Quintel when they were both at CalArts and worked together on several projects while studying together. Marin went to work for Disney after graduating and was part of the animation department on several big titles. including Ratatouille, Bolt, The Princess and the Frog, and Tangled. Marin left Disney to work Regular Program; his animation and voice acting career has continued with several projects since then.

Janie Haddad Tomkins as Margaret: Haddad Tompkins has played a variety of small roles on TV, both in animation and live-action. His credits include Hacks, Night Hackand Lion. In Regular Programshe is Margaret, a robin with whom Mordecai has a relationship, later leading to a love triangle with CJ.
