Ranma 1/2 was a highly faithful and successful modern remake of the beloved original TV anime. Based on the manga by the legendary Rumiko Takahashi, Ranma 1/2 the source material was already so ahead of its time that simply adding modern visuals and sounds was enough to bring new fans to Ranma in bulk. Now, both new and old fans will be able to enjoy the Ranma 1/2 restart, like Season 2 has been officially confirmed to be in production.
The first season roughly adapts the first four volumes of the original manga, ending with Akane's restored memories of Ranma. If the second season intends to cover a similar amount of material, it should include the arrival of Mousse and end with the introduction of Happosai to the story. In many cases, for series like these, problems arise when the anime catches up naturally with its source material. Show how Dragon ball, narutoand One piece are famous for their adaptations with large amounts of filler added in sections where they needed time for the manga to progress. It has not yet been confirmed whether the Ranma 1/2 The remake will follow the events of the manga, anime or feature a mix of both. The series has already proven itself exceptionally faithful to Rumiko Takahashi's storytelling mandatebut the original anime began to heavily incorporate filler at the point in the series where the remake's first season is ending. There have already been subtle changes that suggest the new anime's fidelity to the manga, although it is uncertain what direction the adaptation will take in its next season.

Studio MAPPA is one of the most prolific animation studios in anime, producing more than some of the most popular series released in recent years. MAPPA, despite its history of high-quality adaptations, is spread across several different series. Jujutsu Kaisen, chainsaw man, Vinlândia Sagaamong many other popular anime, all have projects currently in production by the animation studio, and there is no telling when any of them will see future releases. Without considering, Ranma 1/2The second season of has been officially announced, and the series' popularity could make it a priority for MAPPA.
