The remake for Ranma 1/2 Has just announced a new original character, set to premiere very soon. The remake for the beloved series by Rumiko Takahashi is finally here, and its first episode was a total hit with fans. From its gorgeous animation to its faithful recreation of the manga, this is a series that has been thrilling old and new fans alike. Now, a new potential fan-favorite Ranma 1/2 character is preparing to appear in this Saturday’s episode, and he was created specifically for the remake!

According to CrunchyrollThe clerk Ranma 1/2 X Page shared a first look at Ichiro, a new character in the franchise in an effort “To spice up Rumiko Takahashi’s original story.” Ichiro is shown holding a microphone with a determined look on his face. Based on his description, this makes sense since he is mentioned to be a member of Akane’s school’s broadcasting club. Ichiro will make his first appearance on October 12 in Ranma 1/2s second episode.

Ichiro is currently expected to be voiced by Tomokazu Seki. The voice actor has a hand in bringing multiple characters to life from various franchises. however, One of his most famous performances comes from this Jujutsu Kaisen Franchise like Panda. He has arguably become one of the most beloved figures in the franchise, especially after a strange resurrection in the Ranma 1/2 manga, and Seki did an excellent job of bringing this outrageous but epic character to life.
