Two months later, Tarantino recognizes the negative response his Joker: Folie à Deux review received (through Variety) and defends his position on the Clown continued, saying “Either you like the movie or you don't. “I go on a show and say I like 'Joker 2.' Now there are 150 articles about it… One person hears the thing and writes an article about it and there are 150 fraudulent articles about it. And then you read the comments: 'Quentin is an idiot. This movie is shit. He's an idiot for saying that. Why am I an idiot? I liked the fucking movie! Does that make me an idiot? Either you like the movie or you don't. I'm not promoting the film. I'm not doing anything. I'm just saying I like it. Who cares what I like? Why do you care what the hell I like?
