The reset of Prison Break has received a major update on Hulu. The possibility of reviving the popular crime drama gained traction in November when it was announced that the streamer was looking at Maias MC co-creator Elgin James to revive Prison Break.
Deadline now confirms that the Prison Break reboot got a pilot order at Hulu. The project, which comes from 20th Television, is said to be a new story set in the same general universe. Although plot details are under wraps, The reboot is not expected to involve the central characters of Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller) and Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell).
