At the beginning of the two-part episode, Tommy receives a letter from Kimberly while he is at work. Adam started reading the letter so that Tommy would not have to stop his exercise, but they soon realized that the contents of the letter were too sensitive. Power Rangers Breaking up Tommy and Kimberly was controversial, especially because of how it happened. Although Kimberly’s absence would have to be acknowledged one way or the other, because she breaks up with Tommy through a letter in which she says that she found that someone else was not the best of decisions. It was a somewhat tragic end for a couple viewers have been following since the first season of the original Power Rangers Show.
