Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket has just launched a new battle-focused event, with players able to earn Pack Hourglasses, Shinedust, and player badges as prizes. The new Apex Genetic Emblem Event 1 challenges players to fight and beat their fellow players in a standard battle. All decks are eligible for use in the Genetic Apex Emblem event. Players can collect special badges to display on their profiles and rack up wins. Players can also earn rewards for completing certain event-focused missions. The event runs until November 28th.
This is the first Emblem Event for Pokémon TCG Pocket and is happening simultaneously with several other events. Players can also participate in a solo battle event to collect an ex-Lapras promo card, as well as a Wonder Card event that rewards Chansey and Meowth promo cards. All three events are happening now, giving players more things to do than just opening packs and collecting cards.

Our Take: More Events for Pokémon TCG Pocket Keeps Engagement High
So much to do and so many cards to collect!
In just one week since the game’s release, Pokémon TCG Pocket launched three separate events to help keep players logged into the game. None of these events are particularly exciting, but they do give players something to do other than just log in. and opening a few packs a day.
New cards are still the biggest attraction for Pokémon TCG Pocketbut events like the Genetic Apex Emblem Event help build the game’s competitive angle. One key to future Emblem events is whether the game encourages players to use something other than their standard decks to play.
