Our Take: This is the biggest Pokémon Scarlet and Violet event yet
Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are at their best when big events happen
Pokémon Scarlet and Violet shines brightest when it feels like a living game and a showcase of Pokémon franchise. Events like the Shiny Rayquaza raid and the previous Mewtwo and Mew event are exciting and offer unique experiences to players. This also marks one of the first times players have been guaranteed a chance to collect a Shiny Rayquaza in several years.
Our only real disappointment is that it’s been almost a year since Pokémon Scarlet and Violet had an event like this. It would have been a lot more fun if Legendary Pokémon the events came Pokémon Scarlet and Violet more frequently.
