Pokémon Legends ZA trailer could be revealed before Pokémon Day, according to well-known leaker

Pokemon fans got a new look Pokemon Legends ZA before next year Pokemon Day thanks to a well-known leaker. In February, The Pokémon Company surprised many when it announced Pokemon Legends ZAa new Pokemon Legends game set in the Kalos region. Details about the game are still unclear, but The Pokémon Company confirmed that the game would be set in Lumiose City, the central city of the Kalos region, and would bring the popular Mega Evolution mechanic back to the game.

Since that initial announcement in Pokemon Day (February 27), The Pokémon Company has kept information about Pokemon Legends ZAno new trailer or announcements of any kind. However, the well-known leaker Khu Riddle states that a trailer will still be released before Pokemon Day 2025, which CentroLeaks later deciphered for those who are not so fond of Khu’s riddles.

Did a hack delay the release of the Pokémon Legends ZA trailer?

The lack of information about the new Pokémon game is curious

The Pokémon Company was rocked last year by the release of hacked information about the Pokemon franchise, from Pokémon discarded from older games to details about new ones Pokemon films. The hacker chose to keep information about Pokemon Legends ZA private, although some wondered if the massive hack led The Pokémon Company to delay a Pokemon Legends ZA trailer. According to leaker Riddler Khu, Game Freak reportedly delayed a new trailer for Pokemon Legends ZA. However, The Pokémon Company still plans to provide fans with new information before Pokemon Day.

The Riddler Khu correctly leaked information about the Pokemon franchise in the past, and it is widely assumed that they are connected to the Chinese localization team. However, Khu also got the information wrong and many of its leaks in 2024 did not happen. So while Khu may be right, they may also be trying to keep their reputation intact. Like any other rumor, Khu’s claims should be taken with caution.

Fans will still be excited whenever the trailer drops

When Pokemon Legends ZA was released, we knew the game wouldn’t be released until 2025. If the game wasn’t released until the second half of the year, it apparently didn’t make sense to ramp up marketing for the game until closer to its release. Different Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, Pokemon Legends ZA probably won’t have countless new species of Pokémon. The game’s big reveal will be how it differs from the Pokémon Legends: Arceus and whether the game takes place in the past, present or near future of Pokemon franchise.

Honestly, if the decision were made to postpone a Pokemon Legends ZA trailer, it would make more sense for The Pokémon Company to wait until Pokémon Day. Otherwise, they’re stealing the wind from their own sails unless there are plans to release another Pokemon game in 2025. An early January trailer would be nice, but fans will still be excited about Pokemon Legends ZA regardless of when the next trailer drops.
