Information about Zenless Zone ZeroS1.3 banners have started to come to light, so what can players expect from the upcoming editions? The hit game recently released its 1.2 update, which came with hordes of quality-of-life updates. Most notable is the removal of most TV exploration segments, which was a highly requested change. And now, fans are already looking forward to 1.3.
Patch 1.2 also introduced two powerful characters in Physical Shielder Caeser King and Fire Anomaly Burnice White. Although it is a ways away, early predictions for 1.4 have also started. Since the story seems to be trending towards the Section 6 faction, first introduced in the main story, the suspected banners for 1.4 are Miyabi and Harumasa. Not much is known about the two, but it is believed that Miyabi uses the ice element in some capacity.

Wrap up loose ends and start again
Through the promotional marketing of ZZZThe two banners for patch 1.3 will be Electric Anomaly Tsukishiro Yanagi and Fire Stun Ladder. Leiter finishes off the Sons of Calydon faction introduced in 1.2, while Yanagi will be the start of Section 6’s S-Rank units. The latter will join the one current A-rank character from Section 6 in Sohaku. With that said, while each character is different, based on Sohaku’s strength, Yanagi could be a game-breaking new addition with her mastery and proficiency in anomaly damage.
Leaked kit information about Zenless Zone Zero’s ladder
A master of fire and ice
of these zenlesszoneleaks Subreddit, early information was found about Leiter’s and Yanagi’s kits. The Fire Stun unit’s standard attack is a combo chain of five that changes the styles of the last two attacks based on player input. Ladder will also receive a 40% damage reduction while performing the last three attacks. His EX Special Attack is a powerful uppercut that will deal a heavy amount of Daze and Fire damage, which has a follow-up attack if enough energy is left over..

Unfortunately, there is no information about Leiter’s Ultimate, but his passive and additional abilities are known. For his passive, Leiter will gain 4.8 morale stacks a second and when he reaches 80 he enters the morale burst state. This state will increase his damage, impact, and allow him to slip the ice and fire resistance. The last part of Morale Burst allows him to increase the stun duration of enemies he dazes. Ladder’s bonus ability allows him to grant Uplift to allied agents, increasing the character’s Fire or Ice damage based on the amount of Uplift stacks, up to 20.
Early leaks about Leiter’s V-engine show it’s a useful bonus to its kit. The first part of it increases his impact when he uses his quick or defensive assist. Meanwhile, the second half will build stacks, up to 20, for each Basic Attack ladder hit. Each stack will increase damage received to fire and ice attacks.
Kit leaks information about Yanagi from Zenless Zone Zero
Disorder on the rise
Based on current information, Yanagi may take over as the new best Electric Anomaly character. Her basic attack is the standard five-hit combo that deals physical and electric damage. However, it has two stances it can be used in.
One increases her resistance to interrupt and the other increases her chance to interrupt enemies. Yanagi’s EX Special has her perform a powerful slash and then enter all-encompassing nature mode for 15 seconds. This boosts her damage a bit and allows her to go directly to the third attack in her range after hitting with the fifth.
Yanagi’s Ultimate is a big AOE slash that is followed by a lightning strike that will deal a massive amount of electrical damage. For the core passive, enemies hit by Yanagi will be debuffed with Tremor, increasing the electric damage they take from Yanagi by 40%. Meanwhile, her additional ability will increase anomaly build-up after switching basic attack stances or performing her range/assist attacks.
Ladder seems to be a more versatile stun unit that, while he doesn’t increase stun damage, has the tradeoff of buffing his teammates and giving them longer damage durations.
Compared to other V-engines, Yanagi seems quite simple. It increases your Electric Anomaly buildup, your Anomaly damage when you hit a special attack, and your Disorder damage by 25% when your Anomaly stat is over 400. In that regard, Yanagi seems like the type of character that wants a more mixed attribute team rather than mono electric.
Overall, these two characters are shaping up to be interesting additions to ZZZ. Ladder seems to be a more versatile stun unit that, while he doesn’t increase stun damage, has the tradeoff of buffing his teammates and giving them longer damage durations. Yanagi will likely replace Grace Howard, but could also shift more to dealing disorder damage to enemies with Jane Doe and quick applications. However, the two may still see some changes ahead of time Zenless Zone ZeroS 1.3 Banners launch.
