Patience’s Ghosts Season 4 Exit Is Great, But It Creates a New Plot Hole

Although it makes perfect sense to Ghosts Season 4, Episode 3 to send Patience back to Woodstone Manor, her closing comments opened a huge plot hole in the series. Ghosts Season 4’s cast of characters got a little bigger thanks to the Season 3 finale, but this new arrival was quickly scrapped. In the premiere of season 4, viewers met Ghosts Season 4’s new character, Patience, a pious Puritan played by Happiest seasonthe emerging star, Mary Holland. Very strict even for a Puritan colony, Patience was inadvertently abandoned beneath the mansion by Isaac.

In an impressive moment of character growth, Isaac joined the rest of the ghosts in getting Patience out of “T.”he is dirt”And welcome her to the mansion. Although Isaac’s efforts were commendable, they soon proved to be misguided. Patience was able to make blood flow from the walls of the mansion and she used her supernatural powers to bring about major changes in the mansion. Sam Ghosts Season 4’s reunion with Frank, her estranged father, was almost ruined when an outraged Patience used her power to stop Frank from sharing a room with his girlfriend. However, the last straw for the series’ heroes came in episode 3 of season 4.

Patience Reveals She Will Return to “The Others” in Her Farewell in Ghosts Season 4 Episode 3

Patience referenced other spirits beneath the mansion in “Halloween IV: The Witch”

Season 4 Episode 3, “Halloween IV: The Witch,” saw Patience judge Sam as a witch. When the rest of the ghosts jokingly voted to confirm that Sam was a witch, Patience apparently turned her into a stone statue. This resulted in a huge panic until the end of the episode revealed that Patience was bluffing and Sam was fine. of Isaac Ghosts Season 4’s redemption arc continued as he pointed out Patience’s hypocrisy, noting that she watched trashy TV with him while the ghosts tried to save Sam. Ashamed, Patience decided that the mansion was a den of sin that she could no longer stand.

Isaac only felt bad about her fate because he, like everyone else, thought she was effectively trapped in solitary confinement.

When she announced her move back to “The dirt”, Patience mentioned that “The others” would probably be waiting for her. The ghosts were understandably worried, but It is not clear what “Others“Patience may be referring to. After all, a defining feature of the character’s backstory was that she was isolated and alone throughout her time at the mansion. Isaac only felt bad about her fate because he, like everyone else, thought she was effectively trapped in solitary confinement. Until Patience’s tragedy Ghosts Season 4’s catchphrase was based on this idea, apparently stemming from his lack of human contact.

Ghosts changed Patience’s story almost immediately

This vague allusion to “Others” It may have just been a throwaway joke and a passing example of Patience once again scaring her fellow ghosts. However, Patience made it seem like she had other ghost friends with the comment, which makes her anger at Isaac much less reasonable in retrospect. It is also unclear why she spent so much time above ground if the “Others” Awaited her return below, especially when neither Sam nor the ghosts liked her. That Ghosts Season 4’s plot hole probably won’t be answered anytime soon, as Patience’s arc appears to have already ended.
