The first glimpse of Palworld collaborating with Terrarium was revealed via a trailer featuring “Meowmere”, a familiar melee sword from Terrarium. The trailer features gameplay from Palworldoverlaid with music reminiscent Terrarium. The Miaumere in Palworld trailer is visually consistent with its Terrarium counterpart, albeit with a transparent pinkish-purple blade.
The sword keeps the cat face in its rain protectionand when swung, it emits cat-shaped projectiles with a rainbow trail, similar to the Nyan Cat meme that inspired the weapon. Unlike long-distance projectiles in Terrariumthe Palworld version fires cat projectiles that travel a short distance and bounce when they find an object. The inclusion of Meowmere serves as a teaser for Palworldcollaboration with Terrariumwhich was announced in November but is expected to be released in 2025.
Meowmere is just one of many items coming in the Palworld X Terraria collaboration
There's more to come
The addition of Meowmere in Palworld and just a small taste of what's to come in the biggest Terrarium collaboration planned for 2025. This collaboration represents Pocketpair's first foray into cross-game collaborations, while Terrarium has a history of incorporating content from other independent games. TerrariumCrossovers often introduce new vanity sets, which means there could be potential Palworldinspired outfits. Items like the Pal Sphere and Paldeck can also come in Terrarium such as summoner accessories or even vanity items.
Collaboration could have iconic items from Terrarium in Palworldlike Minisharkone of TerrariumThe most recognized weapons. Given the many boss battles in TerrariumLots of material can be adjusted to fit Palworldart style. The diverse abilities of these bosses could be adapted into Palworldcombat mechanics. Additionally, smaller-scale versions of Terrarium bosses such as Queen Slime can also be added Palworld in a way that aligns with the game's cute art style.
Palworld wants to stay despite Nintendo's lawsuit
Pocketpair keeps bringing more

The collaboration and the new December update arriving tomorrow, with the addition of a large new island, show that Pocketpair is apparently unfazed by the legal challenges. This is also happening after PocketPair brought Palworld for PlayStation.
Collaboration with Terrarium It's great because both companies benefit from it, but it will also likely bring more players to Pocketpair at a time when they will likely need money to defend themselves against Nintendo's lawsuit. It also shows the level of work Pocketpair is still putting into their game. This collaboration combines two iconic indie games, starting with Meowmere and teasing a larger collaboration set for 2025. With new updates coming to Palworld and the introduction of Meowmere, fans will get a taste of what's to come.
