Elijah Wood as Wirt

Character: Melanie Lynskey plays Beatrice in Over the garden wall. Beatrice was a talking blue bird who initially helped Wirt and Greg get to the house of Adelaide, the owner of the forest. Beatrice was human, but suffered a mysterious curse that turned her into a bird.
