Notice! Spoilers for Outlander season 7, episode 14 ahead!
The end of Outlander Season 7 Episode 14 left William in danger, and only Lord John has the chance to save him. Of course, that's not all that's interesting about this installment of the time travel fantasy series. Episode 14, “Ye Dinna Get Used to It,” begins with a flashback to the year 1775, when Lord John Gray promised his brother Hal that he would never accept American independence. This was followed by a scene set two years later, during which John was forced to swear allegiance to the Continental Army to save his own life. Of course, that didn't last long since he reunited with Jamie and Claire.
Speaking of Jamie and Claire, Outlander Season 7 Episode 14 saw this couple become even more critical of the Revolution by hosting a dinner with George Washington and some of his most important colleagues. Then, in the 1970s, his daughter Brianna fought to keep her family safe from Rob Cameron and had to make some difficult decisions. All of these events across time and space are contributing to a great battle, likely to prove crucial in the Outlander season 7 finale. Still, before then, William's fate will be on the public's mind.
William is in danger in Outlander season 7 episode 14 finale
William is about to be rescued
Captain Richardson – who revealed himself to be a secret rebel during his dance with Claire at the beginning of Outlander—sent William Ransom on another mission in Outlander season 7, episode 14. He ordered him to deliver a letter to a group of Hessians, and William had no problem fulfilling that duty. However, Percy Beauchamp urgently told Lord John Gray that Richardson's intention was for William to be held captive by the Hessians and tortured to secure the cooperation of Lord John and Hal Grey. Naturally, William knew nothing about this scheme and fell right into the trap.
At the end of Outlander Season 7, Episode 14, William delivers his letter, which secretly instructs the recipient of Hesse to capture the boy. Unfortunately, what comes next will be left until episode 15. Hopefully, Percy Beauchamp notified Lord John of the danger William was in in time. Jamie, now a brigadier general in the Continental Army, is ordered to accompany his 300 men before the upcoming battle. However, Lord John is figuratively free to find and free William. Things are still tense between Jamie and John, but the line, “Save our son,“is a reminder of what these men still share.
Explanation of the connection of Percy Wainwright (Beauchamp) and Lord John Gray
Obviously there's a secret story here

Although it is not clear whether the Outlander The TV show will delve deeper into this character's story, the Mr John Spinoff book series reveals that Percy and Lord John were loversis back in the past.
It is clear from their interaction in Outlander that something went wrong between Lord John and Percy. This last man tried to caress Lord John's face, but was pushed away and essentially told that he didn't deserve to touch him. This has to do with the fact that Percy was arrested once after being caught having sex with a German soldier. Lord John helped his lover escapethus ensuring your safety. However, there was clearly some resentment of the situation. Perhaps now that Percy has warned Lord John about the plot surrounding William, things will be different.
