Outer Banks Repeats the Same Sarah Cameron Twist for 4 Seasons in a Row (But Season 5 Needs to Break It)

Sarah Cameron once again found herself in trouble External Banks season 4, part 2. The second batch of episodes in season 4 saw the Pogues, along with Sarah Cameron, continue to fight for their home on the Outer Banks of North Carolina, as well as travel to Morocco in search of Blackbeard’s treasure, the Blue Crown. As in previous seasons, External Banks Season 4 includes some shocking character revelations, life-threatening situations during the Pogues’ treasure hunts, and a finale that leaves Outer Banks fans with a lot of questions heading into Season 5.

As in previous seasons, External Banks season 4 includes dangerous journeys and intense fight scenes in which the Pogues struggle to get away with their lives, let alone treasure. While all the Pogues get into trouble and risk their lives, some of the External Banks characters seem to be in danger more than others. While the second part of the new season shocked audiences with a big reveal from Sarah Cameron and John B, it was less surprising to see External Banks repeat the same Sarah Cameron twist for the fourth season in a row.

Sarah almost dies (again) in Outer Banks season 4

This twist has happened in every season so far

Sarah Cameron came very close to death in every season of External Banks so far, and it happened again in season 4. In Season 4, Episode 9, Sarah almost dies with JJ in the storm. This added to a series of harrowing situations the character found herself in during the series. While all of the Pogues have had some death-defying moments in External BanksSarah’s near-death experiences are always more dramatic. Compared to when the other characters escape danger and recover quickly, Sarah’s near-death experiences often have lasting effects on her physical and mental well-being.

Although audiences have watched Sarah avoid death for four seasons, it looks like she may finally end that streak.

In External Banks In the first season, Sarah and John B nearly die (and are presumed dead by their friends) when their boat capsizes. In season 2, Sarah almost dies not once, but twice at the hands of her brother, breaking their relationship. The first is when Rafe shoots her, and then Rafe tries to drown her. In season 3, Sarah is almost killed by one of Carlos Singh’s men and only survives because her father sacrifices himself for her. Although audiences have watched Sarah avoid death for four seasons, it looks like she may finally end that streak.

Sarah’s Pregnancy Tips Outer Banks Season 5 Will Finally End Her Series of Near-Death Experiences

While the Outer Banks season 4 finale hints at the Pogues’ interest in continuing their quest for the Blue Crown, there’s a good chance the group will be more protective of Sarah next season. It’s unlikely the group will stop their search, especially considering Sarah and John B will need more money to raise a baby, but It stands to reason that they would like to keep Sarah out of harm’s way as much as possible. If that’s the case, she should be in much less dangerous situations in the coming months.

There are hints throughout season 4 that John B and Sarah are looking forward to settling down a little more and building a life together after a treasure hunt, but for now they are still searching for the Blue Crown. As it is already confirmed that the 5th season will be External Banks last season, with the tragic death of an original Pogue and the news of Sarah’s pregnancy, it will be interesting to see how the series plans to end each character’s journey.
