Oshi No Ko confirmed the identity of its true villain, but fans won’t be happy about it

Summary

  • The real villain of Oshi no Ko Is Ai’s fellow idol Nino as opposed to Hikaru Kamiki.

  • Nino is heavily implied to be the true mastermind behind Ai’s death.

  • Nino’s lack of screentime and development make her a disappointing villain for the final arc.

Warning: Contains spoilers for Oshi no Ko’s final arc. After years of build-up to Aqua’s confrontation with Hikaru Kamiki, Oshi no Ko Resolved the conflict quite anticlimactically. Aqua revealed that Ai kept Kamiki away from her and their children because she was afraid it would be too much of a burden on him, and with Kamiki realizing that Ai did love him, he changed his mind and decided to catch his crimes. . .

Although the conflict with Kamiki may be resolved, Oshi no KoHis story is not over yet. Oshi no Ko was quick to acknowledge that there was one more person left to deal with before AI got its due revenge, and surprisingly, Oshi no Kos final villain is portrayed as a greater threat than Kamiki and The real mastermind behind Ais’s murder: Nino.

Some of the members of the original B-Komachi

Unfortunately, the pacing of the series, among other reasons, doesn’t allow for this to be a satisfying twist, so it’s hard to imagine most fans accepting it as Oshi no Kos final arc moves forward.

Oshi no Ko’s true villain explained

Nino is the mastermind behind AI’s death

The last, and true, villain of the Oshi no Ko Manga is Fuyuko Niino is called Nino, a former member of B-Komachi who was obsessed with AI. Nino was an accomplice of Kamiki, and after Kamiki was dealt with, Oshi no Ko It is heavily implied that Nino was the one truly responsible for Ai and Goro’s murders, with her possibly pushing Ryosuke Kaihara into killing them instead of scaring them. Add in chapter #158 ending with Nino stabbing Ruby When Kamiki wanted them to turn in, and it is clear that Nino is at the heart of Oshi no Kos final conflict.

Why Oshi No Ko’s true villain is disappointing

Oshi No Ko’s big twist could ruin the final arc

Nino during her days with B-Komachi

Nino is the ultimate villain of Oshi no KoHowever The twist has already been met with criticism from fans due to its execution. While Nino has several cameos in the series, she wasn’t properly introduced until late in the penultimate arc, and the only way to get any insight into her character until now was through a web story released exclusively in Japan. in short, Nino has much less focus as a villainand a general character in Oshi no Ko Like Kamiki, and that makes it hard to get invested in her as the villain.

Everything around the revenge plot was centered around the subsequent confrontation between Aqua and Kamiki, and because of that, Nino is the ultimate villain of Oshi no Ko Has much less emotional weight to it than was present with Kamiki. Her conflict with AI and, by extension, Aqua and Ruby, is much less personal and says much less about AI, than a person. Because of all this, it’s hard to feel invested in Nino as Oshi no Kos true villain, but hopefully, the series will do something to properly sell her as such in the final chapters.

Oshi no Ko is an animated supernatural mystery series that follows a gynecologist named Gorou, a big fan of an idol he is caring for as she prepares to deliver her children. Still an obsessive fan of the idol-murdering Goro, he is reincarnated as her newborn son – but along with him, a terminal patient he knew is reborn as his twin sister. Years later, after yet another seemingly related murder, Gorou (now known as Aqua) decides to enter the idol world and find the culprit.
