Ororon Ascension and Talent Materials

Most Ascension and Talent materials for Ororon in Genshin Impact could be pre-farmed before its release in version 5.2. Ororon is a new 4-star Electro character introduced in version 5.2alongside the 5-star Anemo DPS Chasca. The new character is a bow user who acts as an off-field sub-DPS in team compositions, capable of hitting opponents with Electro and setting the stage for various Elemental Reactions, such as Electro-Charged when running alongside Mualani in Genshin Impactfor example. Ororon’s materials had already been leaked, but now there is a more concrete list of items to farm.

Farming these materials is the first step to unlocking Ororon’s full potential as a playable character. By doing this, you will be able to Ascend the character up to level 90 and, in addition, upgrade your Talents to the maximum level. When operating at these levels, Ororon will reach its maximum base performancewhich can then be updated via a suitable build. Having it maxed out is the best way to ensure you’re getting the most out of Ororon’s gaming kit in Genshin Impactand that starts with agricultural materials.

Ascension Materials to Farm for Ororon in Genshin Impact

Only one material was blocked by the release of version 5.2

Ororon from Genshin Impact wears a hood and looks serious.

As an Electro character, the first materials you will need to farm for Ororon are Vajrada Amethyst stones. Typically, these stones drop from bosses that are minimally aligned with the Electro element.. Some of the bosses that drop Amethyst Vajrada stones include Electro Hypostasis, Thunder Manifestation, Stormterror, Childe, and the new Tenebrous Papila: Type I boss, which drops an important Ascension material for Chasca in Genshin Impact.

The table below lists all Ascension materials for Ororon, broken down by level cap, condensed at the end, and including the rewards for some Ascension processes, as shown in World of honey hunters:

The next set of materials for Ororon are Juvenile Fang, Seasoned Fang and Tyrant’s Fang. All of these materials are part of the same item family and have varying rarities. Fang items can be farmed by defeating Saurian enemies in Natlan. These materials are used in Ororon’s Ascension and Talent processes, which means you’ll want to farm a surplus and take on all the Saurians you can to ensure you have enough. You can use the official interactive map at HoYoLAB to easily track the location of the Saurians in Genshin Impact.

Amethyst Vajrada stones and Fangs are part of item families and as such can be upgraded through the Alchemy Table as Ororon’s needs increase.

In addition to the item sets mentioned above, Ororon’s materials also include the Mark of Binding Blessing. This is a boss material that can only be farmed by defeating the Goldflame Qucusaur Tyrant boss in Genshin Impact. Multiple copies of the Mark of Binding Blessing are required, and given the limitations of daily resin, it may take you a few days to gather everything needed when it comes to this specific material on the Ascension list.

The Rise of Ororon materials also include an item called the Glowing Mushroom. This is a local specialty that can be grown in the Tezcatepetonco Mountain Range and near the Masters of the Night-Wind tribe in the new areas of the Natlan map, according to the item page at World of honey hunters. Local specialties only respawn every 48 hours, so it may take a few days for you to collect all 168 copies of the Glowing Mushroom. Among the items listed for Rise of Ororon, the Glowing Mushroom is the only one that cannot be pre-farmedas introduced in Genshin Impact 5.2, along with the character launch.

To fuel all of the Ascension processes, you will need a large sum of Mora – 420,000 are consumed to unlock all level caps, but an extra 1,673,400 Mora is used when leveling Ororon with character EXP materials. Coin can always be farmed in the Blossom of Wealth activities in Teyvat, but it is recommended to challenge those in Natlan. This is because you can encounter Saurian enemies in Flowers of Wealth in Natlan, thus granting extra Fang materials for Ororon’s Ascension and talent leveling processes in Genshin Impact.

Materials for Ororon’s talents (skills) in Genshin Impact

All of these materials could be pre-grown

As previously mentioned, Juvenile Fang, Seasoned Fang, and Tyrant’s Fang are among the materials consumed when leveling up Ororon’s Talents. Compared to the amount used for your Ascension, you will need many more copies of Fangs to fully upgrade all of your abilities. If you need extra fangs, you can buy them from Paimon’s Bargains store for Stardust and Starglitter.

The table below lists all materials needed to fully upgrade all of Ororon’s Talents in Genshin Impact:

Ororon talent materials in Genshin Impact

Kindling Teachings

Guide to lighting

Kindle Philosophies

Juvenile Prey

Tempered Fang

Tyrant’s Fang

Silk thread without light

Crown of Insight

lives

For his abilities, Ororon consumes Kindling Talent books. Kindling Teachings, Guide to Kindling, and Kindling Philosophies can be cultivated in the Domain of Flaming Ruins in Natlan on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. A large number of Talent books will be required to fully upgrade all of Ororon’s abilities, so you may find yourself stuck farming this Domain multiple times over the course of weeks.

Remember to use the Alchemy Table to transform Teachings into Guidance and Guidance into Philosophies as Ororon’s needs increase.

The weekly boss material consumed when leveling Ororon’s talents is called Lightless Silk String. This material can be farmed by defeating the Devouring Narwhal boss in Genshin Impact. Lightless Silk String is one of three possible talent materials dropped by the boss, but you can turn the other materials into Lightless Silk String using a Dream Solvent on the Alchemy Table. Ororon will also need three Crowns of Insight, which can be acquired through limited-time events, reputation systems, and Paimon Bargains.

The talent leveling process will also consume a large amount of Mora. Players can expect to spend nearly 5 million Mora to upgrade all three of Ororon’s talents to maximum level. As usual, you can and should farm Mora in the Blossom of Wealth activities at the various nodes in Teyvat, although farming in Natlan may be a more worthwhile endeavor.

With most of Ororon’s materials available before its release, pre-cultivation is a possibility – and even a recommendation. By cultivating preventatively, you can ensure that you move forward and postpone a few weeks of delay that would be natural after your release. The only problem would be with the Local Specialty required for your Ascension, but with only one material blocked by the release of Genshin Impact 5.2, players can quickly upgrade Ororon to function as their new Electro sub-DPS.
