Order 66 was already horrible, but it’s gotten a lot more horrible since Revenge of the Sith

Order 66 was one of the most important moments of the Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sithbut it became even more horrible as the years passed. Viewers have always known that the previous era of the Jedi Order was living on borrowed time; Still, as the prequels continued, it was unclear how or when this would happen. Ultimately, the Jedi Purge occurred because Palpatine issued a simple command: “Execute Order 66.” It was a shocking moment, with the clone troopers immediately attacking the Jedi.

The film itself avoided explaining why the clones were apparently willing to attack their Jedi generals. In the years since then, Star Wars reconnected Order 66 in many different ways – and the true story of Order 66 became even more tragic. It became a story of betrayal and betrayal, in which the clones were forced to go against their own nature.

This thought gets worse when you consider that Anakin Skywalker – who was a slave in his youth – led an army of these slaves into the Jedi Temple to unwittingly kill any Jedi, including children. Order 66 was horrible because of the loss of Jedi life, but it was made worse by the knowledge that the clones were forced to kill people they considered leaders and friends.

After Order 66, the clones were sidelined by the Empire without senatorial rights.

Star Wars: The Bad Batch did a good job of expanding on the clone stories of The Clone Wars. There were so many gaps in the public’s understanding of the clones’ lives after The Clone Wars series finale and before some return in Star Wars Rebels. This led to The bad lot revealing that some senators – such as Senator Riyo Chuchi – worked with clones in hopes of gaining them rights and even representation in the Imperial Senate.

Senator Chuchi’s efforts were unsuccessful, but they helped the public understand that the clones were largely left out of the galaxy after the war ended. In fact, there was a great deal of anti-clone sentiment following the Empire’s rise to power. Clones had few to no rights and largely had no skills applicable to society other than being soldiers. This anti-clone sentiment has been seen repeatedly in Star Wars, although it has never been a main topic of conflict. In The Mandalorian Season 2, Bo-Katan Kryze and Koska Reeves are hostile towards Boba Fett and even say that he is not a true Mandalorian.

The bad lot Seasons 1 and 2 went a step further, revealing that the Empire often took clones to Mount Tantiss, where they were experimented on by Dr. Royce Hemlock. Many clones were exploited to create CX series clones of Hemlock, who were elite assassins who always killed themselves after being captured. Viewers were able to see the horrific conditions the clones lived in as they followed Crosshair into The bad lot season 3. These clones have basically lost all hope of escaping or being rescued.

Although experimentation probably stopped with Dr. Hemlock’s death in The bad lot series finale, it is unclear whether the clones were tested again, although it would not be surprising if they were. Dr. Hemlock’s experiments also allowed him to progress Palpatine’s Necromancer Project by using the blood of the clones, as well as utilizing the scientific process used to create the clones to create a Force-sensitive clone of Palpatine. This exploitation of the clones further demoted them more and made them feel less than human, especially when other clones would hunt them down if they tried to escape.

The clones were largely responsible for maintaining order in the galaxy during the Clone Wars, and in exchange for their many sacrifices, they were rejected. No one wanted them or cared enough to take care of them. It’s no wonder that clone leaders like Captain Rex ended up leading a clone uprising against the Empire. Clones were heroes who saved so many lives and worldsand in response they were shunned. The worst thing is that there were examples of clones who literally lived on the streets because they did not receive assistance after the war.

Node Obi Wan Kenobi series, Obi-Wan encountered a homeless clone trooper who was begging for money to get food. Unfortunately, this seemed to be the reality for many clones after the end of the Clone Wars. Although certain clones like Clone Force 99 were able to find a quiet and peaceful life on Pabu, most other clones were not so lucky. Furthermore, they had to live with the fact that they were the ones who killed their Jedi leaders, whether they wanted to or not.

There is much tragedy resulting from Order 66, but the pain and pain neither began nor ended with the Jedi massacre. The clones were unwitting slaves in Palpatine’s plot to overthrow the Jedi, and they were the ones who had to face the consequences and there was nothing they could have done to fix it. There is no denying that the Jedi massacre seen in Revenge of the Sith It was horrible and a tragedy, but the pain and suffering didn’t stop for the clones, and that makes the events of Order 66 even more horrible.
