One piece season 2 will see the live-action debut of Sir Crocodile, and the Netflix show is about to show more of him than the manga or anime ever did. After covering the East Blue saga while featuring each of the five main Straw Hat pirates, Netflix One piece now it's heading to the Grand Line. Considering the first season was relatively low until the fight against Arlong One piece Season 2 will see deadly pirates and bounty hunters across the islands now that Luffy and his friends are sailing to the New World.
The Grand Line is the most treacherous stretch of ocean in the world, from which few return to tell the tale. This is the perfect setup for Netflix One piece to always raise the stakes, with each season feeling bigger than the last. So far, only season 2 has been officially confirmed by Netflix. However, given that the Alabasta Saga will not be concluded with Season 2, Netflix One piece will likely return for a third season as well. Interestingly, Crocodile is confirmed for season 2, although the Alabasta arc is not yet covered.
One Piece is expected to show what the crocodile did before the Alabasta Arc
Crocodile will be in One Piece season 2, although it won't cover Alabasta
The fact that Joe Manganiello was cast and announced as Crocodile for One piece Season 2, although Mr. 0 only properly appears during the Alabasta arc, strongly suggests that we will see more of the villain compared to the source material. We can only assume that Manganiello will have significant screen time in Season 2, considering his cast has already been officially announced, meaning Crocodile will be around before the events of Alabasta even take place. In other words, we could see what Mr. 0 was doing while Princess Vivi was looking for help.

Crocodile's presence has been felt since the beginning of the Alabasta saga, especially after the Straw Hats encounter Miss Wednesday during the Whiskey Peak arc. However, other than the phone call between Sanji and the leader of Baroque Works, One pieceThe heroes only encounter Crocodile during the Alabasta arc. In order for Manganiello's character to have a significant presence in season 2, Netflix One piece you will have to live with Crocodile and show moments that happened “off-screen” during the manga. This includes, for example, your reaction to Mr.
The Straw Hats Can't Meet the Crocodile Until Season 3 (But He Could Still Play a Major Role)
One Piece Season 2 Could Show Parts of the Story From the Crocodile's Perspective
One of the most interesting things about Crocodile is that he is essentially a shadow for most of the Alabasta arc – a presence that is felt throughout the story but doesn't fully materialize until the end of the saga. Although Princess Vivi knows who Crocodile is and the threat he poses to the Kingdom of Alabasta and the rest of the world, Luffy and the others have no idea who this rogue Warlord is. That's why the Straw Hats weren't supposed to meet Crocodile until season three.
Interestingly, Netflix has so far avoided referring to Joe Manganiello's character as “Crocodile.” Instead, the villain was referred to simply as “Mr. 0”, which is the name of Crocodile's Baroque Works. This suggests that the villain will indeed be a shadowy figure in Season 2 and that most characters will initially be unaware of who he is and why he is so dangerous. However, that doesn't mean Manganiello's Crocodile can't appear in Season 2. It would be interesting to see parts of the Alabasta saga from Crocodile's point of view.
Joe Manganiello's Crocodile Might Be One Piece Live-Action's Best Villain Yet
Crocodile's history and goals make him one of One Piece's best villains
Crocodile is a fascinating character who is also incredibly powerful. By dividing the Alabasta saga into two seasons, Netflix One piece has the chance to spend a lot more time with the leader of Baroque Works than the manga or anime ever did. It's true that Crocodile shouldn't be used much in Season 2, as the character is considered a mysterious threat that only materializes later. Yet, there is room for One piece Season 2 to play with Crocodile without ruining his mystique.
Netflix One piece may also include flashbacks to Crocodile's past, including, but not limited to, when he recruited Nico Robin to Baroque Works or when he took over Alabasta. Crocodile has a very interesting backstory that explains who he is and what he wants, and although some of it was only revealed much later in One piecethis could already be incorporated into Joe Manganiello's version of the character.
