One pieceThe manga is finally returning after a long two-week hiatus, and for the first time, the series has given fans a full-page preview of the next chapter, beating the leaks. Like many other series, One pieceThe manga has been battling piracy and illegal leaks for years, and it looks like the series has changed its approach, teasing the next chapter before the leakers did.
With the release of chapter #1131 approaching, One pieceofficial website recently shared a preview of chapter #1131 which consists of what appears to be the full first page of the next chapter. Not only is this preview completely new to One piece, but the preview was also perfectly timed to release on the same day that illegal scans and leaks of the next chapter usually start to surface, making it feel like a very intentional and targeted approach.
One Piece reveals a preview of chapter 1131 before its release
One Piece fights spoilers with spoilers
Shared on the One Piece website alongside the release information for volume #110, the preview for chapter #1131 picks up right where the previous chapter left off, with Luffy celebrating the fact that he has finally reached Elbaf. Luffy can be seen talking animatedly with Loki about how he always wanted to come to Elbaf, about how everything around him is giant, while Loki tries, unsuccessfully, to speak.
Luffy even asks about the giant tree on the island and praises how this is the first time he has seen so many giants, making the beginning of the chapter quite light-hearted. The scene appears to be turning into a comic outburst from Loki, whose Dynamic with Luffy seems to be taking shape in the end.
While it’s still too early to tell what shape Loki and Luffy’s relationship will take, the hilarious start to chapter #1131 suggests that the two could end up hitting it off against all odds. Overall, it seems One pieceElbaf’s Arc is finally starting to take off, with chapter #1131 looking like a lot of fun.
One piece is available on Manga Plus and Viz Media.
