With the release of volume #110 of One piece In a few days, Shueisha is promoting the release of the volume and their latest announcement is simply brilliant.
One piece recently shared a new website this apparently allows fans to read the upcoming volume #110 completely for free. However, as soon as fans scroll past a few pages, the panels begin to disappear one by one before being replaced by the World Government symbol and a 404 error message stating that the page has been deleted by the World Government. The message even hilariously states that the page was removed because it “may disturb world peace” before scrolling to reveal a link to purchase the latest volume.

As seen in this post on X by Geoff Thewthe page only allows fans to scroll up to page 3 of chapter 1113, after which panels on subsequent pages begin to disappear. That being said, both the website and the glitch effect are easily accessible even outside of Japan and can be Best viewed on a desktop.
Given the exciting chapters contained within, it makes sense that Shueisha went all out to promote volume #110. That being said, the latest “test” is by far the most creative promotion the franchise has ever done and fits perfectly into the theme of the volume as well. Volume #110 will include chapter #1111 through chapter #1121, which contain the biggest revelations from the Vegapunk broadcast and the series as a whole.

In addition to being incredibly fresh, Shueisha’s newest promotion for volume #110 also cleverly reflects the way the World Government tries to interrupt Vegapunk’s message in the storyseemingly blurring the line between manga and reality. One piece also released a promotional video for volume #110 that similarly shows Vegapunk’s broadcast interrupting a television broadcast before being cut off, but the new site’s prank clearly gets the upper hand and has effectively attracted all eyes to the launch of the volume.
General, One pieceEgghead Arc continues to defy expectations in every aspect, and volume #110 is without a doubt the most exciting yet. While promotions for volume releases haven’t been notable so far, it looks like Shuiesha has finally stepped up its marketing game and it will be interesting to see if any of them One piecefuture promotions will be able to surpass this.
