Warning: Spoilers ahead One piece Episode #1119
The extremely strong Marine admirals of One pieceEveryone’s world represents a form of justice, but the final saga of Eiichiro Oda’s story has officially pushed one of them too far. When Admirals were first introduced to the story, they represented an unstoppable level of strength that took Luffy years to achieve, but the complex characters proved that even they had limits to what orders they would follow.
During One pieceThe Marine Admiral hierarchy saw a considerable shake-up as Ice-user Kuzan and Magma-user Sakazuki battled for the role of Fleet Admiral. In the 10-day battle, Sakazuki won the role, and Kuzan resigned from the Marines, leaving two admiral positions to be filled. The positions went to forest man Aramaki (Ryokugyu) and the blind gravity manipulator Issho (Fujitora), but episode #1119 of One piece Effectively demonstrates that Jesus’ justice can no longer be blind..
The vile acts of the heavenly dragons call for the reconsideration of justice
Celestial dragons have ruled the world for over 800 years
During One pieceThe last arc, Luffy’s father, Monkey D. Dragon, led the Revolutionary Army in a campaign against the World Government and the cruel Celestial Dragons that rule it. Their plans led to an infiltration of the Celestial Dragon’s home of Mary Geoise, where they planned to free Kuma and as many slaves as possible. However, the operation was met with considerable opposition when Admirals Fujitora and Ryokugyu arrived to protect the rightful residents. But when it came time to fight the revolutionaries who were trying to free the slaves, Isha couldn’t decide which side the good guys were on.
“After betraying the orders of the Heavenly Dragons, they might want to make an example of Issho…”
Revolutionaries succeeded in destroying food supplies and breaking the chains of many enslaved people in their mission before the two admirals arrived. Ryokugyu has had no issues following orders with his support of Absolute Justice, where he believes in the Celestial Dragons’ right to subjugate. However, Fujitora’s practice of humane justice to protect human life put him in a tough spot during the revolutionary assault on Mary Geoise. to fight for what he believed in, Issho actively fought against Ryokugyu and the desires of the world government to help save livesAnd it wasn’t the first time.
Issho’s human righteousness does not cooperate with the ideals of the Heavenly Dragon
The World Military Plan had Isshu join the Marines where he quickly rose to the rank of admiral
Issho is an incredibly talented blind swordsman who can bring meteors down from the sky, but he wasn’t born blind. His long career as a Marine likely forced him to witness many horrific acts of violence that dramatically challenged his belief in human justice. As demonstrated during his actions on Dressrosa, his dedication to protecting innocent life directly conflicts with the decisions of the world government that ordered the deaths of civilians under the guise of being for the greater good. After seeing enough of these actions, he created the two scars on his face that took away his sight.
Luffy made quite an impression on Admiral Fujitaro after he helped save the people of Dressrosa and proved to the High Marines that he is a good man. The events of that arc also proved to Isha that the “Warlords of the Sea” program invited too much corruption and harm to innocent lives, making him one of the most important reasons for the abolition of the group. Still, his acts of defiance and failure to capture Luffy’s Straw Hat pirate crew on Dressrosa had already tarnished Issho’s reputation with Fleet Admiral Sakazuki, and his help from the revolutionaries certainly didn’t help.
What happened to Admiral Fujitora after Mary Geoise
If Issho is no longer an admiral, someone new may need to fill the position
The anime demonstrated Issho’s resistance against Ryokugyu more thoroughly, but neither it nor Eiichiro Oda’s manga showed how or if the blind swordsman escaped Mary Geoise. But if he didn’t bring it out, his betrayal and the fact that his belief is directly against the will of the world government, he can give the recently disgraced world leaders an outlet for their frustrations.
After betraying the orders of the Celestial Dragons, they may want to make an example of Issho to re-establish the World Government’s dominance over the Marines. The leaders of the Celestial Dragons are preparing to take things up a notch and are working much harder to stamp out rebellion. Still, many officers’ beliefs were shaken after Dr. Vegapunk’s message raised doubts that the world government had the best interests of the world population in mind. But with all the chaos, There is a chance that the admiral has escaped To hear another day.

It is unclear where Issho would go after escaping Mary Geoise, but if he completely turns against the Celestial Dragons, he may team up with the Revolutionary Army, which is working to cap the world government and outlaw slavery that has ruined countless lives for centuries. There is also the chance that Luffy’s actions have inspired the recently disgraced Admiral to assist in the Straw Hat’s quest to find the One Piece. Either way, it’s a safe bet that Isha will reappear, and his form of justice will save even more lives before then. One piece ends
