Our take on Fae Farm moving to PlayStation and Xbox

Home games took center stage

Nintendo Switch and Steam are currently the main platforms for home games, and many of the most popular in the genre are unavailable on PlayStation or Xbox. As the genre is growing with many streamers and the Wholesome Direct showcasing relaxing titles, I feel we will see more of these transitions with popular titles making themselves more widely available. This can be a boon overall for those, like me, in the gaming community who gravitate towards many of the lower end titles.

Fae Farm is one of the biggest domestic farming simulators that have been released recently, and as it leads the way to PlayStation and Xbox, it will be interesting to see how the numbers do on the consoles. It’s possible that the market has already limited itself by conditioning its players to only use Switch or PC. That said, it could also help grow the wider market by bringing new players into the genre, as people who may not have access to a Switch or PC can now discover Fae Farm And explore more of the cozy genre.
