Why You Should Watch Interstellar on Netflix
Interstellar is a good example of Nolan's work with time
Although I didn't care Interstellar Nolan's greatest film, it is a must-see for fans of the director. The film perfectly exemplifies how Nolan manages to play with time in his films, a theme that permeates his entire work. Time has an almost intellectualized unfolding in a Nolan film like Dunkirkbut Interstellar sees Nolan's more personal and emotionally connected approach to time as a narrative device. This element, combined with the well-stocked cast, means that Interstellar a watch that is worth it.
What TelaRant said about Interstellar:
Interstellar It's an imaginative film, but a heavy mix of personal sacrifice and theoretical physics doesn't leave much room for subtle storytelling (or particularly memorable action). For a film that is rooted in the love between a father and daughter, Interstellar delivers surprisingly cold (and often stiff) drama – albeit one driven by lofty sci-fi settings and captivating visuals. Nolan relies heavily on long scenes of superficial exposition, where characters openly debate or explain complicated physical and philosophical ideas, to educate the audience and ruminate on humanity (good and bad) in the face of death and destruction. – Interstellar Review
