What does this mean for a Chicago
The TV universe is returning to one of its greatest strengths
Before the Covid-19 pandemic, crossover episodes on A Chicago universe were more common and have always been the gratifying culmination of the various procedural series produced by Dick Wolf. The network television universe will once again live up to the potential of its shared universe as Chicago Firecharacters interact with Chicago Police and Chicago Middlecharacters. This is especially exciting for the new characters who have been added to each series since 2019 and who haven’t yet had a chance to crossover.
The next crossover too provides yet another reason to tune in to all three series in the coming months. While the crossover will undoubtedly be accessible to all viewers, having familiarity with the current stories and characters of Chicago Police, Chicago Fireand Chicago Middle will make it particularly satisfying. This has been a benefit of when the shows have crossed paths in the past and is a strength that will now be revived in the next explosive story.
Our take on the Chicago crossover
Hopefully it will be less prescient than its predecessor
A ChicagoThe upcoming crossover is one of the most exciting developments in the franchise This will soon be enormously beneficial to all three programs. The previous crossover’s focus on a deadly bacteria outbreak in the city proved eerily prescient, with the Covid-19 pandemic beginning just months later. The youngest A Chicago Here’s hoping the crossover is less prescient and just as exciting and high-stakes as those in the past have proven to be.
