Nintendo doesn't make sales as often as other consoles

I am considered a ā€œpatient gamerā€ online, preferring to wait for a title to resolve all its launch issues and go on sale before purchasing it. However, as a Switch user, this can sometimes mean waiting a long time before getting a game I want for a good price. Nintendo just doesn't seem to have sales as frequent as some other platforms, and while I've been guilty of buying a lot of Steam games because they were heavily discounted, I only have a small handful of Switch games selected at the moment.

That's why if you've been waiting for a title that's already on sale, Nintendo's holiday sale is the perfect time to get it. Nintendo's sale this year includes many Switch console essentials. And with the Switch 2 potentially looming on the horizon, it's a better time than ever to finally play a classic Switch game like Animal Crossing: New Horizons or Super Mario Oddysey, before Nintendo moves on to his next console project.
