Marvel and DC have crossed paths several times, but despite fan demand, readers have yet to see Daredevil And Nightwing Share any on-board interactions. This lack is a shame, considering both characters have a lot in common – like they’re both smart.
The version of Nightwing that most people know never became a full lawyer – though His law degree is mentioned in Nightwing #80 By Tom Taylor, Bruno Redondo, Adriano Lucas and Wes Abbott – but the original Dick Grayson, who is actually from Earth-2, eventually took on the role of a defense attorney. Dick’s version was a lawyer for several years, and he is even an American ambassador.
Becoming a lawyer and ambassador were major milestones in Dick’s life and career, and it was a perfect way for the Earth-2 version of Robin to continue protecting innocent people while not running around as a vigilante. It was an interesting turn for Dick Grayson’s character, and it means that Each version of Dick ends with some interest in the lawJust like Matt Murdock’s Daredevil.

While the Earth-0 version of Nightwing never became a full lawyer, that didn’t stop him from getting a law degree. Before the New 52 reboot, there was a period where Dick’s day job was a police officer, which meant he needed an intimate understanding of the law so he could uphold it. This would be the perfect career focus for Nightwing and Daredevil to share. While fans often want the two to meet simply because of their carefree attitudes and fighting styles, their interests are shockingly aligned, with both of them clearly caring about the law.
There is no denying that Daredevil and Nightwing would be able to bond over things like their style of fighting or their history with abusive and cold mentors, but what would really bring Nightwing and Daredevil together is their shared love of the law.
A lot of superheroes try to keep the world safe even in their civilian identities, but very few go as far as Nightwing and Daredevil. These two give everything they have at night to keep the streets safe, and then, during the day, they make sure the law isn’t used to hurt innocent people. There’s no denying that Daredevil and Nightwing would be able to bond over things like their fighting styles or their history with abusive and cold mentors, but what would really bring Nightwing And Daredevil Together is their shared love of the law.
