Nearly a decade after the last game’s initial release in The wizard franchise, developer CD Projekt RED has an update on the next game in the series, codenamed “Polaris.” Polaris, along with a nearby Cyberpunk 2077 sequel codenamed “Orion”, had already been released by CDPR, but with both projects still in the early stages of development, little has been revealed about them.
In a post celebrating notable sales milestones for Cyberpunk 2077 and your Phantom Freedom DLC, however, CD Projekt RED also announced that Polaris has moved beyond the pre-production stage and “moved into large-scale production“, which means the game is in a more active development stage.
