Capcom and TiMi Studio are partnering on a new Monster Hunter game that will take the increasingly popular franchise and make it more portable than ever. While the series is no stranger to mobile gaming, Foreign Monster Hunters aims to give players a “massive” open-world experience with all the mechanics that fans have come to know and love. The gameplay loop will feel instantly familiar as Hunters embark on jungle quests to take down towering beasts, collect their resources, and craft better gear to challenge even more powerful enemies.
Described as a “survival game“defined within the Monster Hunter universe, players will be able to explore a variety of unique regions consisting of different environments, biomes, ecosystems and, of course, monsters.
When not hunting, users can set up a small camp to provide respite from the wilderness, taking a break to socialize with friends and craft equipment and consumables. Foreigners will support up to four player co-oprequiring coordination and teamwork to take down some of the world’s most iconic beasts.
Monster Hunter Outlanders looks like the real deal
There’s even a hook!
The game trailer Foreign Monster Hunters It certainly paints a picture of a complete installment, as the footage shows what the players will do when they’re on the field. In addition to the impressive environments, traversal appears to be an important part of the game, as Hunters are shown sliding down hills, gliding over the landscape and even swinging from treetops with a slippery hook.. It also appears that vertical surfaces will be scalable as The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wildwhich should open up some interesting exploration opportunities.
Foreign Monster Hunters is clearly still in early development, as the announcement trailer doesn’t show the game’s combat, a system that will benefit from planned testing. It is also important to note that Performance seems a little choppy, but this too will likely smooth out as production continues. The fact that Foreigners it looks so good it’s exciting; It may be running on mobile devices, but TiMi Studio is clearly pushing the hardware to its limits.
Monster Hunter Outlanders is taking its time
Better send a complete game
Players may be eager to sink their teeth into Foreign Monster Hunters but TiMi Studio wants everyone to know that it is doing everything it can to ensure a smooth, content-rich launch. The developer has not yet set a worldwide release date, but has confirmed that is planning to conduct several tests that will involve the community. Personally, I think it looks fantastic Monster Hunter game, but I’m not sure if players want something like this on their cell phones; I think monetization and mechanical depth determine the success or failure of this project.
