New Infinity Stone wielder has the most unique (& freakiest) power in Marvel lore

In response to the Mad Titan Thanos Forming a new Infinity Stone from his former lover’s death, The rest of the stones bonded with new hosts, and now the mind stone has chosen its host: Colleen Wing. However, the Infinity Stones are a huge power to wield, and Colleen is completely unprepared to handle the Mind Stone’s force. Thankfully, she has a pious avatar to guide her journey.

Moon Night Annual (2024) #1 – written by Dan Watters, with art by Marco Renna – features the rise of a new Infinity Watch in the wake of Thanos forging the new Death Stone.

As the newly chosen wielders of the Infinity Stones struggle to gain their new god-like powers, Thanos is leaving a bloody trail across the galaxy to retrieve the stones and recreate the Infinity Gauntlet. However, the relatively weak Colleen Wing is not as weak of a choice to be the Mind Stone’s wielder as one might believe.

Colleen Wing stabs Thanos to take away the mind stone.

Colleen, as the wielder of the Mind Stone, was granted psionic powers and a particularly creepy new ability.

Colleen Wing, aka Lady Samurai, is a street-level hero often allied with Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and Misty Knight. Raised in a mountain range in northern Japan, Colleen was trained by her grandfather in the ways of the samurai. After the death of her grandfather, the young samurai moved to New York where she met her now long-time friends and allies. While Colleen’s greatest strengths lie mainly in her martial arts abilities and detective skills, she was trained by Iron Fist to observe and control her inner chi.

Now, as the wielder of the Mind Stone, Colleen has gained psionic powers and a particularly creepy new ability. While roaming the streets of New York City, Moon Knight encounters a flock of birds with human heads that he recognizes as “Ba.” He says that in Egyptian scriptures, bass are the manifestations of a person’s soul that allow the body to roam the world during sleep. Follow the bass to their source, Moon Knight Discovers Colleen unconscious and reeling from the mind stone’s activated powers.

Will it be enough to stop Thanos?


In order to control his new Infinity Stone, the Death Stone, Thanos vows to recreate the Infinity Gauntlet.

Her lifelong training, learning how to control her own mind, nerves and inner energy, seems to have given Colleen a new level of mastery over the Mind Stone.

until now, HThe Mind Stone has never before been seen to give its wielders the ability to manifest thoughts into reality. The bass are able to physically interact with the world around them, proving that they are more than mental projections. How exactly Colleen was able to create physical constructs using the stone is entirely unknown. However, this power may be attributed to Colleen’s use of the stone rather than the stone itself.

Her lifelong training, learning how to control her own mind, nerves and inner energy, seems to have given Colleen a new level of mastery over the Mind Stone. Those who wish to use the powers of the Infinity Stones often do not exemplify the special nature of the stones themselves; Thanos is certainly not mindful. however, In Colleen Wing’s case, she may be the most unassuming, yet most adept Mind Stone wielder seen to date – But will she be strong enough to take it? Thanos It remains to be determined.
