New Dragon Ball Daima Fight offers fans one of the best one-man moments in the franchise's history

Dragon Ball Daima proves that Goku is as skilled a fighter as ever with his most recent fight scene, which could actually go down as one of Goku's greatest "one-man army" moments in the entire franchise. The battle featured excellent animation, as well as a rare strategic use of Super Saiyan that is absolutely brilliant.

In episode #5 of DaimaGoku's group, with Panzy in tow, heads to the castle of the Third King of the Demon World. There, they have a meeting with the king, who is eager to see Goku's power in person after discovering that Goku plans to challenge the Tamagami, something no one has ever done successfully. Goku agrees to show off his power, and they have Goku face off against the king's strongest and most experienced soldiers, with Goku even choosing to allow the warriors to use their weapons if they wish. What follows is a fantastic fight sequence worthy of being present. Dragon ballmain fights.

Goku's success in battle proves that being Mini didn't weaken him

Goku challenges the crowd of soldiers and doesn't even use his Power Pole to do so. Despite still being relatively new to this smaller body, it appears that Goku has already gotten used to his size again, as he is shown expertly spinning and dodging. When too many soldiers begin to pile in on him, Goku briefly transforms into a Super Saiyan, using the shockwave emitted from the transformation to fend off his attackers.. Goku appears to be able to channel Super Saiyan power even after the golden hair disappears, using it to bolster his attacks and hit even harder. Barely sweating, Goku defeats all of the king's men.

Goku's ability to deal with large groups of combatants is not put to the test very often, as he typically only faces one main villain at any given time, and relatively few of them use minions to fight. Still, these "one-man army" moments can be very revealing about Goku's power level, and this one seems to indicate that Goku is already becoming familiar with what it was like to fight as a child again. Many of Goku's most famous moments like this are from his childhood, fighting en masse against the Red Ribbon Army's goons.

Daima's best fight sequences saw Goku against multiple opponents

This is the third time in Daima that Goku had to fight a group of people at the same time, following the bar fight in episode 3 and the Gendarmerie in episode 4. All three examples use exceptional fight choreography, leading to absolutely beautiful fight sequences that feel right. Goku does things like swinging his weapons, kicking his opponents and dodging skillfully, making the most of all the elements present in the fight.. Goku uses his own techniques such as Super Saiyan and Instant Transmission in the fight in clever ways, proving that he is still more than capable of handling a group like this.

While the sequence was clearly added just so this episode would have a fight, it doesn't feel out of place or cramped; this logically fits into the plot, and Goku sees it as good practice to help him stay in touch with his smaller body. The episode is strong enough to stand on its own without a fight, but adding one, especially one as well-animated as this, certainly raises the quality of the entire episode by a significant margin.

Daima has given Goku the kind of fights fans rarely get to see him take part in, and that's great for the series as a whole. These types of “one-man army” moments definitely reinforce how much stronger Goku is than the average person, something that can be easy to forget when he's surrounded by other powerful people like Vegeta.. Even in this Mini form, Goku's power is exceptional, and there's no better way to prove that than by having him destroy dozens of experienced fighters at once.

While there are certainly plenty of one-on-one fights ahead for Goku, such as his battles against the Tamagami for the Demon Realm Dragon Balls, fans should take advantage of the opportunity to see Goku's full power on display against a group. Dragon Ball Daima reinforced Goku's reputation as a one-man army - even though he's a kid again.
