Marvel's New Carnage Promises to Become a Different Kind of Hero as a Killer of Assassins
Still, the Carnage Symbiote Is Marvel's Worst Serial Killer
In the cockpit, Eddie witnesses the Carnage symbiote massacring the two pilots. After that, he wakes up at home. It's unclear exactly how the two came together, but now that they are, the two need to establish some ground rules in order to coexist. Eddie has been trying his best to be a hero these past few years, but the Carnage symbiote demands sacrificesand Eddie will have to give in to it. Eddie Brock used to kill people with little trouble. After all, Venom was known as the Lethal Protector. He was also originally a Spider-Man villain. While Venom never intended to kill innocent people, there's no denying that it still happened from time to time. Eddie worked for years to put that part of his life behind him and become a better person.. Unfortunately, the bond with Carnage will make it nearly impossible to be a better person. Carnage Could Turn Eddie Brock Into A Killer Again
Eddie's progress as a hero could be completely reversed
Marvel has many serial killers, but none of them are as prolific as the Carnage symbiote. Carnage enjoys killing so much that he once evolved beyond the desire to just kill humans. It will be very difficult to go from killing gods to killing random serial killers on the streets. As Soule says, like any addict, Carnage will eventually want bigger, more important deaths.
Eddie Brock will have to do everything in his power to keep Carnage satisfied. Since separating from Carnage doesn't seem like an option, Eddie will have to hope he can continually find people who deserve to die. While the villain community has always feared the Punisher and, to some extent, Venom, now they will have an even more terrifying enemy to seek out. Connected to Carnage symbiote, Eddie Brock will become a greater threat to villains everywhere than ever before. Poison.
