Our opinion on La Palma
May be better for genre fans
The Norwegian volcano saga might be worth experiencing for one episode. But there are also many other examples of La Palmathemes from, including the 2012 film The Impossible. Another survival story directed by JA Bayona, The Impossible features Tom Holland's best on-screen performance. The four-episode miniseries is similar, although in substance it is different. It largely depends on what the viewer is in the mood for.
