What happened in My Hero Academia Season 7 Episode 20?

Uraraka approaches Toga with compassion

Toga, disguised as Twice, stabs Ochaco Uraraka.

The situation with Toga and the Twice doppelgängers only got worse at the beginning of episode #20: Toga’s doppelgängers absorbed blood in the air and turned into heroes instead of villains. Uraraka managed to find the real Toga and tried to get closer to her, which mostly only made Toga angry. While Uraraka only wanted to talk, Toga seemed to be in no mood for conversation and lashed out at her. Mixed throughout were numerous flashbacks to Toga’s childhood and her time in the League of Villains, showing how she was treated.

Desperately trying to push forward and get to Toga, Uraraka was subjected to a Quirk Awakening, which caused her weightlessness to spread when touched, allowing her to lift all of Twice’s clones into the air at once. In a simple act of kindness, Uraraka’s sincere compliment to Touga reached into her heart and made her open up, finally discussing the love she had talked about before. As Jin’s blood began to dry up and Toga lost the ability to create and control doubles, they began to evaporate and the tide of battle finally turned in the heroes’ favor.

My Hero Academia Season 7 Episode 21 “Quirkless Battles”

The Almighty Faces His Greatest Adversary

All Might holds a briefcase near his Hercules car.

Episode 21 of season 7 My Hero Academia called “Quirkless Battle” and will be the season finale. It’s clear from the title and preview that the focus will return to All Might and his attempt to distract All for One. The preview went to great lengths to hide exactly how All Might would fight, so it seems best not to spoil that particular aspect of the episode. What was seen in the preview was a flashback to All Might’s training with his predecessor, Nana Shimura, perhaps due to All Might also reflecting on how he too started out quirkless.

The preview also revealed that Toga and Uraraka’s story isn’t over yet, as they were shown lying on the ground next to each other, now that the doppelgangers have quieted down. Uraraka is still seriously injured, so it is important for her to get medical attention as soon as possible. She had already lost a lot of blood from her knife wound, and sooner or later it would catch up with her.

While the last war My Hero Academia Season 7 may not be over yet, so fans will have to wait a little longer to see how the rest of the war goes. With hope My Hero Academia doesn’t leave fans confused as the wait between seasons is already hard to bear as the end is in sight.
