Moana 2 Expands Official Anime as Disney Celebrates Film's Box Office Success

Disney movie, Moana, may be the last franchise most fans would expect to receive an anime adaptation, but recently, animation artist Gensho Yasuda translated the adorable story into this format. Xenotoon and Yasuda Studio have masterfully took the Disney film and added an anime touch which fans of Japanese animation are sure to deeply appreciate.

The project not only pays homage to the compelling story of Moana, includes songs from the recently released album Moana 2 film, dubbed in Japanese. Two musical shorts were initially released and now fans can enjoy two more animated shorts based on more songs from the acclaimed film itself.

Tomona Yabiku sang the first two songs, while the last ones were sung by Sonim and Matsuya Onoe, respectively. These songs were excellent choices for the anime adaptations, as they represent fan-favorite songs from the soundtrack as the most emotional and pivotal points of the anime.
