Married at first sight Season 18 cast member Michelle Tomblin feels a growing disdain for her husband, David Trimble, and this could lead to their involvement in the impending couple swap. Fans watched David and Michelle, Ikechi Okoré and Emem Obot, Karla J and Juan, Allen Slowick and Madison Myers, and Camille and Thomas get married.
Married at first sight Season 18 will take place in Chicago, Illinois for the second time in the show’s history. Michelle and David felt an instant attraction for each other at the altar, but things quickly went downhill in Michelle’s mind after she learned that David still lives with his parents. They are having the most difficult marriage of the five MAFS couples. Michelle and David were joined by the panel of experts, Dr. Pepper Schwartz, Dr. Pia Holec, and Pastor Cal Roberson.

David, 35, is trying hard to have a long, happy marriage like his parents. David has his own business and is staying at his parents’ house to save money for the next chapter of his life. Michelle, 38, has been single for six years and is proud to be independent. David, who wanted an independent woman, also asked for a blonde woman, and that’s what he got with Michelle, while Michelle wanted a bold, ethnic man as her husband. When talking to friends and family at the wedding, it has been clearly stated that they are each other’s types.

After Michelle had her initial conversation with David, she quickly discovered how he lived in the basement of his parents’ house and was totally put off by it. She said she would be open-minded, but even after talking to David’s parents about his motivations for living with them, she wasn’t satisfied. She went to the bathroom and had a meltdown (through Access Hollywood) about how she didn’t want a man who lived at home.
It is clear that Michelle has disdain and contempt for David and ignores all of his positive attributes.
David is not living up to Michelle’s expectations, and she will have difficulty overcoming her living situation, and the contempt will grow even more.

It is possible that they are part of the exchange
Married at first sight the 18th season will feature the franchise’s first couple exchange, but It is not clear who exactly will be between. Since Michelle was clearly unhappy with who the experts cast her as, there’s a possibility she could find a stronger connection with one of the other cast members. Plus, Madison is David’s type, and he could abandon Michelle’s scrutiny to be with her. It’s too early to know which couples are involved in the swap, but since Michelle isn’t feeling David, it could very well be them.
