A Song of Fire and Lightning

When it comes to the best of your Metaphor: ReFantazio party members with combos that can more easily beat Sea Horror Homo Sabara, you should take the protagonist with a wizard archetype and Hulkenberg with a second wizard. So as for the rest of your party, take Heismay with the Assassin Archetype and Junah with the Masked Dancer.

Have at least two party members inherit group healing and disease curing abilities through inheritance as well. Homo Sabara’s Ink Spew attack can cause Malady.

Although they are resistant to Sea Horror Homo Sabara’s Ice-type attack, its two Wizards can learn Kandera to inflict medium electrical magic damage, which the boss is weak against. Having Masked Dancer and another Wizard in the party will allow you to use the Gakandera and Kandeon Synthesis abilities, both of which inflict medium electrical damage to all enemies and heavy electrical damage to one enemy, respectively. Masked Dancer is also resistant to the boss’s Ice-type attack, so this will give your team an extra advantage against one of its attacks.

Electrocute the Kraken

The start of the Sea Horror Homo Sabara boss fight in Metaphor: ReFantazio

To beat the Sea Horror Homo Sabara in Metaphor: ReFantazioyou need to use your pair of Mage Archetypes to achieve your weakness to Electric-type magic attacks. Having a weakness makes it a little easier to strategize against it than learning how to beat Zorba, who doesn’t have it. Focus your electrical attacks on synthesis skills to hit the Homo Sabara in its tentacles. Meanwhile, have the Heismay Assassin use Lurking Nightblade to lower his hit/evasion stats. Junah’s Masked Dancer can use the Hellfire Dance to weaken him and turn him into Fire.

Using Electric and Fire to target his weakness and generate extra Turn icons depletes his health until it loses about half. Afterwards, he will try to use Soul Scream to gain more Turn Icons and fight back, so you must continue increasing the pressure with more uses of electric and fire magic, and another with Wizard Electric-type synthesis skills to finish it off. Just remember to target Sea Horror Homo Sabara’s weakness to Electric-type magic attacks and win in this sea-based game. Metaphor: ReFantazio Boss battle will be at your disposal.
