According to DeadlineRobert De Niro, Ben Stiller, Teri Polo and Blythe Danner are in early talks to return for a new film in Meet the parents franchise. John Hamburg, who co-wrote the previous three films, will write the script.

Ben Stiller stars in Meet the Parents as Greg Focker, a nurse who tries to win over his girlfriend's parents when he meets them for the first time. Robert De Niro and Teri Polo co-star alongside Stiller in the 2000 comedy, which spawned two sequels: Meet the Fockers and Little Fockers.
