ONE Mass Effect

TV show is now underway with a Fast and Furious franchise writer leading the adaptation. First launched in 2007, the Mass Effect The video game franchise is set in the distant future, as humanity and alien races colonize the galaxy using technology left behind by an advanced civilization. Developed by BioWare, the third-person sci-fi franchise now consists of four main entries and several mobile games, as well as novels and an animated film. THE Mass Effect The games were originally published by Microsoft Games Studio, but Electronic Arts has handled publishing since 2010.

Variety now reports that Mass Effect is ready to make the jump to TV, with F9: The Quick Saga writer Daniel Casey is set to write and executive produce a new adaptation for Prime Video. No plot details have been revealed yet, but it was first reported that Amazon was interested in a Mass Effect adaptation in 2021. Additional executive producers include Karim Zreik through his Cedar Tree Productions banner, EA's Ari Arad and Michael Gamble.
