Selling sunset Star Mary Bonnet recently discovered some shocking news about her reproductive system, after a breast implant ruptured and she needed medical attention. She and her French husband, Romain Bonnet, who is much younger than her, have long wanted a baby. Unfortunately, Mary had a miscarriage in November 2023, apparently due to a uterine infection. Onscreen, she sad, cycling between “Crying and feeling numb.”
Mary has a child, Austin Babbitt, who is all grown up (he is 27). She was a teen mom who got pregnant at the age of 15And she felt judged by society. Austin’s biological father didn’t step up, and Mary was a single mom. This is so much pressure on a teenage girl. Life’s ups and downs have never soured Mary—in fact, she’s the Oppenheim Group’s most gracious realtor of the bunch. Hopefully Mary, who got engaged to Roman in season 1, and later married him, will make her baby dreams come true.
Mary’s a Leo woman who wants another Leo cub
Mary was born on July 29, 1980
Mary showcases “big cat” Leo energy on the brilliant Netflix series. She’s into filming (Leos love attention), but she doesn’t enjoy trouble. Of course, this sets her apart from some of her costars, including bombastic diva Chelsea Lazcani, and troublemaker Nicole Young. Usually, arguments make peacemaker Mary cry. Satisfied with her hobby, Mary wants to expand her family with her 29-year-old partner, and recent answers about her infertility issues could make that possible.

Mary has been through the ringer while trying to have a baby with Romain. Infertility problems can be so emotionally devastating. Hopeful couples have to stay strong as they try strategies such as IVF. Every time a strategy fails, they must feel heartbreak. Mary and Roman tried IVF after trying to conceive naturally, but that was not all. According to US MagazineIn the past, Mary, now 44 years old, said:
I have had an MRI scan, a full body scan and I have to have surgery on my uterus.
After such an ordeal, including an operation to repair a septal uterus that was divided in two when it shouldn’t be, Mary probably felt unheard of. She found out about the uterine problem while seeking help for her ruptured breast implant. The doctor found something that other doctors missed. According to yahooShe opened up about her health challenges in her book, Selling sunshine.
Now that Mary has had surgery, it may be possible for her to conceive a baby with Romain. Of course, her age can be an issue, but some women in their forties get pregnant and give birth to healthy babies. It is now possible for Mary to understand, based on what she said recently.
It remains to be seen how things will play out. Hopefully, she and Roman will be lucky.
For sure, they would be caring and mature parents to a new arrival. While Romain had strong gold digger vibes during earlier seasons of the show, he seems to have hidden depths. In fact, he seems like a wonderful man.
Roman is a hard worker and he seems to have a lot of passion for his business. He doesn’t sit around while Mary sells real estate. He is also a profiteer. Also, he fiercely defends his wife when she is attacked by castmates, even if it stirs up drama. That kind of protectiveness is such a good sign. Maybe Romain really sees the inner beauty in his gorgeous wife. If he really loves her, and he means it, he is a smart man. She is someone he can count on for sure.
Mary has had so much
She handles life’s challenges with grace
Mary handled single motherhood. She dealt with Shadow because she once dated her boss, Jason Oppenheim. Today, they are friends, genuine about their relationship, but still close. Because Mary is a peaceful being, she can move on and does not hold grudges. That’s why she had trouble getting along with more vindictive castmates, such as notorious villain Christine Quinn, who basically went off the show in a puff of smoke. Above, on Instagram, Mary She doesn’t say “silent” More.
Mary obviously lacks Christine’s icy Cruella de Ville charm, but she is wonderfully warm. She brings a different energy to the series, which is almost maternal. Mary was a mother for a very long time. She has been through so many storms. From a place of maturity, she reigns as the stealth queen of the show. She is a woman with experience who has really lived. She is not a young woman, but she has attributes that are special. She will always stand out and her beauty is timeless.
in the Selling sunset Mix, Christine helps other castmates to work together. She tries her best to put up with their quirks. She has a lot of patience. But, now and then, the things they do seem to surprise her, mostly because she’s not angry. It’s amazing that Mary remains such a graceful and emotional woman despite health issues, single parenthood and more. As she embarks on life after surgery, Mary can thrive. If she gets pregnant, it will probably feel like a miracle.
Selling sunset is mostly about money, but sometimes, the cast members take viewers deeper into human experience, showing them real emotions that are poignant. It’s great that Mary opens up about her inner world and her life today. She is a good role model and her frankness about a grueling infertility journey that has been so painful is inspiring. By writing about her truth, Mary makes it easier for other women to relate to her. She is a real woman who is honest. Many women experienced the same things.
Although Mary isn’t the biggest diva of the bunch, she is an amazing realtor that Jason trusts. They mourned the loss of their dog Niko together. She has a great life. Hopefully, she will have a baby with Romain. But even if she doesn’t, she will find ways to be happy. The Selling sunset Star is almost always smiling, and focusing in the sunlight rather than the shadows.
